(please not this is rather rushed as i am about to leave for a week's holiday with no internet connection. this is just so that, if the group opens while im away, i have some sort of application up)
Name: Gihlan (gee-lan)
Age: 1 year
Breed: 3/4 Abyssinian 1/4 Toyger
Accessories: Leather leg bracers, Sack cloth napsack. leather collar (with small pocket in it for letters)
Personality: As his sister would describe him, a "big headed Moron". This is because Gihlan IS ACTUALLY big headed (not just a sister insult) and this often makes him take unnecesary risks. he always wants to win and doesnt care how he does it. cheating and lying are OK with him. his self belife that he is amazing makes him confident and he wont shy away from new cats or a chance to show off his skills. Because of his father he is hardworking and will always do a job to his best capacity. he is a small cat for his age and is rather short and because of his short legs he cant run very fast but his agility and stanima are (as he certainly likes to belive) one of the best in the city!
(i had it all written in detail (see bottom of comment))
So to sum it all up he is...
A cheat and a lier
SHorter than Average
confident (sometiems overly)
two older brothers- Kain and Errik (twins)
younger Sisiter- Sorek
Brief backstory: his mother, tidtit, was given to a nobel family to be a servent for 6 years to pay of a debt. She met Gihlans father- Ragul, when he started to bring letters to the nobel family (because he was a messanger). after getting to know each other Ragul eventualy earned enough money to buy Tidtit out of servitude.
They then had two sons, Flain and Errik, who were twins. Ragul wanted them to be messangers like himself but they had no interest in running around for other people.
When Flain and Errik were 7 months old Gihlan was born. AGin Ragul tried to make him interested in carrying on the familys job but Gihlan was much more interested in following his two brothers around (who he adored)
It was only Just after Gihlans sister, Sorek, was born when gihlan was 8 months old, that he became interested int eh job.
His two brothers had been very close when they were younger (because they were twins) however as they grew they became more and more diffirent. they began to argue alot and after one heated row (over a female cat who wasnt even interested in them) they stopped talking to each other.
Errik became a soldier and Flain became a scribe.
Gihlan was trained by his father to be a messanger and he discovered he was good at it! his father praised him alot, as he was the only son who had done what he had wanted him to do (sorek didnt want to be a messanger either) and so Gihlan thought he was THE BEST in the WORLD!
and that is where his big headednes comes from!
Other: Brothers are twins but they arnt similar
Flain is clever and quick thinking and witty flirty.
Errik is loud and silly and laughes alot. he isnt as clever as flain but he is also flirty (they make quite a pair.... >.>)
However they both have a tendacy to argue over EVERYTHING
Sorek (sister) shreiks alot at every thing.
Flain: Brother-Friendly - respects and looks up to for cleverness
Errik: Brother-Friendly - respects and looks up to for strength
Sorek: Sister- friendly - gets easily annoyed at
Tibtit: Mother- Friendly - feels protective of (as she is now old and getting sick)
Ragul: Father- Friendly - Respects and want to please.
the sandy cat blended into the inhospitable environment, its muscles tensed against the ever-shifting, sandy ground, readying itself for the next burst of speed. It had a job to do and, even though weariness tugged at its every movement and, action it would finish it.
The sun beat down, never the best conditions to run in. the sack strapped to his back dint help either and at that moment Gihlan wished to be rid of it. Normaly he would have taken a rest. found some water and drank his fill.
But not now, not with this package he had been trusted with.
he took a breath, filled his lungs with the warm, dry-as-a-bone air and took off. streaking over the sand dune and away...
